Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda - 2024 IE3 Conference, Rackham Amphiteatre, U-M
I am the Company Manager for The Players, an applied theatre company working out of the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT) at the University of Michigan (U-M), where I manage the scheduling, logistics, and finances of sessions performed virtually, on-campus at U-M, and at institutions and conferences all over the U.S. and abroad. Originally an Educational Producer with U-M’s College of Engineering, I co-founded and co-managed three independent film companies, and most recently was a COVID Safety Manager for the Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, MI, while also working as a Data Safety Analyst for the Citizen app.
With an education in engineering and creative writing, I received the Landes Award for technical writing and had short fiction and poetry, and op-ed pieces, published in The Michigan Daily and The Michigan Independent, respectively. As a graduate student, I was Valedictorian of my class and received the Full Sail University Course Director Award in 5 out of 12 courses, which is presented to the top student in the class, honoring high marks (4.0 GPA in 11 of 12 courses), quality writing, excellent communication, and a strong desire to succeed in the industry.
